heyhey! I’m Angel Szafranko…

I’m based in Toronto, Canada. Art and Photography have been lifelong passions of mine. I love to document life. Growing up, I loved to draw and paint. I eventually ended up in Animation but throughout all my schooling I always carried a camera with me, snapping photos of my friends and whatever would catch my eye.

Today, I still keep a small camera in my bag for those interesting moments that come up as I go about my day. (Not feeling the weight of a camera in my bag, feels very weird to me!)

I shoot digitally for all my shoots but I own multiple film cameras and like to incorporate film photos into my digital photo shoots as often as I can. I feel like film gives something unique to the photos that digital can’t replicate. I have always enjoyed being in nature, going on long walks, hikes and camping. I like to focus on people and portraits with an interesting outfit. The more thrifted/vintage and unique the outfit is, the more inspired I am.

If you look through my blog or ‘personal’ section of my website you’ll see I do a lot of film photography in my spare time. I love going on long walks through the city and working on my personal projects.

I want to continue to develop my style in photography and continue working with fun models, clients and businesses!
